The music seems as bright and breezy as the title, and tracks from Everyday Sunday's third album were making the airwaves Stateside even before the CD reached the music stores. First impressions of 'Wake Up! Wake Up!' are that it might bear comparison with the likes of Busted, McFly or even Greenday - feel good, punk-influenced, rock/pop for the summer months, and with Ian Eskelin (All Star United) as producer, the sound is a very potent combination of energy and immediacy. But unlike much chart music of this ilk, there's quite a serious side to many of the lyrics - "What We're Here For" addresses some quite deep existential questions for the band, finale "From Me To You" is a letter to God, a plea for him to totally consume us, and even the title track is about realising that we all have a crucial role to play in God's story: "I don't wanna keep sleepwalkin' through endless days, I've had enough of going nowhere, God I want to Wake Up! Wake Up!"
