'All Of The Above' is the eighth album recorded by the youth division of the Australian mega church but excitingly enough is the first ever studio album. Consisting of 14 brand new worship songs, this album seeks to lift the gaze of worshippers all over the world, whetting their appetite for the things of God, reminding them who they are and who he is. Unfortunately, in the past United have been accused of being shallow, but this couldn't be further from the truth here as these songs really reflect the heartbeat of God in the hearts of his devoted children. It has been said that good worship songs should lead the listener back to Scripture; but shouldn't it do much more than that? Good worship songs inspire the listener to lay all things down for the sake of knowing him and to seek justice in the world. Check out www.theiheartrevolution.com (run by United) to see what I mean. The songs on this album burn with the life-giving truth of the Gospel, with true cross-focused songs such as "Lead Me To The Cross" and "Saviour King". As always United get a good balance of energetic up-beat anthemic songs, like "Break Free" and the slower, more reflective songs of intimacy such as "You". Joel Houston's soaring vocals are breathtaking; to hear melodies that excite check out the songs "Point Of Difference", "Desperate People" and "Solution". There is much more to be said about the musicianship and crisp production displayed on this album. But in honesty that is not what is at the centre of this recording.

Je me suis the troisame or something, Just bought the album
(at a great price from CR I might add) & love 'Hosana'
especially. The review doesn't mention the little DVD which
is also a bonus, back stage stuff, three songs and a
message.

This album is amazing. It's either United's best or their
second after We Stand. There's more of a concern for social
justice than on any other Christian album I've listened to,
and some wonderful songs. Buy it and be blessed!
"Break my heart for what breaks yours, everything I am for
your kingdom's cause"
- from Hosanna

This album is incredible in music and the lyrics are
brilliant! it is trés cool and by far the best album
Hillsong United have produced yet! the production itself is
very professional and enables the listener to listen and
reflect on, as matt redman says, the 'beautiful news' of the
victory Jesus won for US at the Cross :). Even more than
that, listening to Devotion, the greatness of God himself!
"When You stand the tall trees and mountains bow, when You
speak the fiercest of oceans are still" This album is full
of Passion for the most worthy! JESUS! God bless and buy
this, you won't be dissappointed! Fav. songs are Devotion,
break free, solution, my future decided, lead me to the
cross... i can't actually really decide tho thats why i put
5 :D
this album is really awesome!!! i love all the songs and i
cant really decide which one is my favorite but I really
like Hosanna and Saviour King. The girl who sings Hosanna is
Brooke Fraser and the guy who sings My Future Decided is
Jonathon Douglass. this cd rocks!!!
