This praise and worship concert was recorded way back in 1992 and was, of course, a big hit which helped establish the African American worship leader. Today some of the music sounds a bit dated however don't let that put you off as there are some great moments on this DVD, such as the rousing rendition of "Ancient Of Days" in which the world class support band including such notaries of jazz as Alex Acuna (percussion), Abraham Laboriel (bass guitar) and Justo Almario (woodwind) display their musical talents. By the time we get to the congregation-rallying ,foot stomping last track "I Call Him Up (Can't Stop Praisin')" the whole auditorium is jumping. 'Lift Him Up' has been named as the all-time best-selling Hosanna! Music album. On viewing this DVD it is easy to see and hear why.
