This compilation of songs by the popular, multi-racial New York choir with an orchestra is technically excellent with a well balanced sound and choice of content. Many songs tell a personal story linked to the gospel message; some major on the solo contributor's vocals like "Heaven On My Mind" with Luther Barnes and Pamela Pettway. Other songs focus on the nature and attributes of our God, his might and his love, and lead to a response to his majesty as in "Worship Medley" and "High And Lifted Up" by Joseoh Pace II. The uptempo pace and style of "Hallelujah Anyhow" draws you into tapping to the beat while in contrast "I Bless Your Name" with its slower, meditative melody, full backing vocals and orchestral crescendos touches the soul and evokes an emotional response of worship. This is a great worship experience.
