This album boasts a plethora of contemporary worship standards such as "In Christ Alone", "Open The Eyes Of My Heart" and "Above All" alongside new tracks "Countless Are The Mercies" by Leigh Barnard and "Nothing But The Blood" by Matt Redman to create a balanced example of the worship at this year's Spring Harvest festival. The worship is led by veterans Dave Bilbrough and Graham Kendrick as well as the younger blood of Plymouth's Leigh Barnard, Brighton's Kate Simmonds and Bristol's Geraldine Latty. One highlight on the album was Kathryn Scott's "Ashes To Beauty" sung wonderfully and prayerfully by Michaela Elliot. The cutting edge 5.1 surround sound DVD of the album promises to allow you to experience the spine-tingling sensation of actually being there like never before. My DVD player doesn't have the technology but I imagine being surrounded by the music would be ace. It should be emphasised that this DVD is purely audio apart from a static image on screen of the CD cover, something not completely communicated on the box. Possibly an opportunity missed for live footage, photos and lyrics to the songs that would have greatly enhanced the package.
