ABOUT CROSS RHYTHMS DIRECT
Cross Rhythms Direct is owned and operated by Cross Rhythms. Cross Rhythms is a registered charity, number 1069357.
All information collected when you place an order through Cross Rhythms Direct will be kept confidential. Your name and address will not be disclosed to anyone outside Cross Rhythms, other than for the following purposes:
- Your name and address will be used by our credit/debit card processing supplier in order to verify your identity and validate your payment
- We may, at our discretion, use a courier firm instead of the postal service to deliver your order. If so, the courier may retain the delivery name and address for their own records.
EMAIL/POSTAL MAILING LISTS
If you agree, your address will be placed on the Cross Rhythms mailing list, and will be used to send you informational and promotional mailings. Cross Rhythms email newsletters are usually sent once a month, and postal newsletters are sent twice a year. You can opt out of any or all mailings at any time.
YOUR ORDER and CONTRACT WITH CROSS RHYTHMS DIRECT
When you place an order with Cross Rhythms Direct via the website, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send a subsequent email confirming availability of the product and/or informing you that we have dispatched the product.
You can cancel an order and receive an immediate refund at any time prior to dispatch. Once the product has been dispatched, the order is complete and cannot be cancelled other than as allowed for by our refunds and returns policy (see below).
Cross Rhythms Direct reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.
If you pay online by credit or debit card, your card will be charged by our card handling processor at the time you place your order. This confirms your offer to purchase and the availability of funds to make that purchase. Your payment will not be considered to have been received by Cross Rhythms Direct until the sum is remitted to us by our card handling processor. If, for any reason, we need to refund your payment in full or in part, this will be processed immediately, whether or not the payment has reached us.
Prices shown on this website are subject to change. Although we endeavour to ensure that all prices shown here are correct, we cannot guarantee that there will be no errors. If the correct price for a product is lower than that charged to you, we will refund the difference prior to dispatching the product. If the correct price is higher than that charged to you we may, at our discretion, honour the lower price. Otherwise, we will either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Estimated dispatch times are shown on product detail pages, but these should be considered as guidelines rather than definite timescales. All dispatch times are working days and do not include weekends and public holidays. We may need to obtain copies of products from our suppliers in order to fulfill an order; an item will not be considered out of stock or delayed unless we are unable to do so within the normal dispatch time (see "Out Of Stock Items", below).
Products may go out of stock or become unavailable at short notice; this will not necessarily be shown on the product detail pages.
The estimated dispatch times shown on the product pages do not have any guarantee whatsoever, and do not form part of any agreement or contract between you and Cross Rhythms Direct.
Goods are dispatched by Royal Mail. UK orders are sent by First Class mail unless the order qualfies for free delivery, in which case the order will be sent by Second Class mail. Non-UK orders are sent by airmail. (BFPO customers: Orders are charged at UK rates; delivery times will vary according to your location). Occasionally, for exceptionally large orders, we may use an alternative delivery method such as a courier or parcels service. We will not charge you extra if we do need to use alternative delivery methods.
Once dispatched, items sent to UK addresses by First Class mail should arrive within one to three days and items sent by Second Class mail should arrive in three to seven days. Items sent to European addresses should arrive within five or six days and items sent worldwide should arrive within seven to ten days. However, this is dependent on the performance of the postal service and is not under the control of Cross Rhythms Direct.
Important! Cross Rhythms Direct cannot guarantee delivery on or by a stated date, and cannot accept responsibility for late delivery caused by delays in the post. Goods cannot be considered to have been lost in the post until 28 days after posting.
Orders may be delivered in more than one parcel.
OUT OF STOCK/FORTHCOMING ITEMS
The availability of an item to order does not guarantee that stocks are available to fulfill the order. If we receive more orders for an item than we have stock available, we will fulfill items strictly according to the order sequence, oldest first.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "Out of Stock" means that we do not have stock here at our premises and we are unable to obtain stock from our suppliers within the usual dispatch time for that product. If we do not have stock on the premises but we are expecting new copies from our suppliers on our normal delivery schedule then the status will be shown as "Waiting".
Items which are out of stock or not yet published at the time of ordering will be placed on backorder and will be dispatched as soon as stocks are available. The decision on whether or not to split an order containing a mix of available and out of stock/forthcoming items is entirely at our discretion.
Important: The listing of a product on the website is not a guarantee of availability. Products may go out of stock due to non-website sales or be unavailable at our suppliers. Provided you have given us a valid email address, we will inform you if any products are unavailable for longer than one week and again after one month. You can choose to cancel your order for any unavailable products at any time.
Unless otherwise stated, all DVDs are Region 2 (UK/Europe) playback only, and all videos are PAL VHS. If you are ordering DVD or video products from outside the UK and Europe, please ensure that you have compatible equipment before placing your order.
DualDiscs are a combined CD/DVD product with CD audio on one side and DVD audio and/or video on the other side. The content of the DVD side varies according to individual products and may not necessarily be exactly the same material as the CD side.
The DVD side of a DualDisc conforms to standard DVD specifications and should play in all DVD players without any problems. However, the CD side uses a non-standard specification and may not play in some CD players, particularly older machines and in-car audio.
DualDiscs may not be returned or exchanged solely because they will not play in your CD player. Once the packaging has been unsealed, audio/video products may only be returned for refund/replacement if faulty. We will not issue a refund if you return a DualDisc and it plays on our test equipment without any problems.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD SECURITY
Cross Rhythms uses the services of Worldpay to process your online payment. Your card details will never be disclosed to any other organisation, under any circumstances.

Maestro cards can only be used for orders placed online via the website. We are not currently able to accept Maestro cards for telephone or mail orders.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
You are entitled to a refund or replacement if an item is damaged or unusable, and you may also be entitled to return an item for a refund even when it is not faulty.
DAMAGED OR UNDELIVERED GOODS.
Under the Sale of Goods Act, you are entitled to a full refund if any item
fails to be dispatched, is lost in
the post or if it arrives in a damaged or unusable state. You
may, at your discretion,
choose to accept a replacement item provided that stocks are
Claims for non-delivery or damage must be made in writing (email or post). Goods will not be considered undelivered until 28 days have elapsed after posting.
If you need to return an item or claim a refund because the product is faulty, please contact us first as we will either arrange for it to be returned at our cost or for it to be replaced or refunded without requiring a return. Please do not post faulty items back to us without contacting us, as we are unable to refund you the cost of postage once the item has been received.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are entitled to cancel your order
and return unwanted goods for refund provided you do so within seven days of
receiving them and providing they are eligble for refund under these
regulations. You will be responsible for the full cost of returning any
The following rules apply to specific types of goods:
- MAGAZINES and SEMINAR RECORDINGS: A full refund can only be made if the item is damaged, faulty or otherwise unusable.
- MUSIC and DVD PRODUCTS: A full refund can only be made if the item is damaged or non-functional or, in the case of shrink-wrapped products only, if the item is returned with the wrapping intact. Important: You do not need to return a CD or DVD if the only damage is to the case - just call or email and we'll send you a replacement case free of charge. (Standard CD/DVD packaging only).
- FESTIVAL/EVENT TICKETS: These are non-refundable under all circumstances.
These conditions meet or exceed your legal rights under UK law. Refunds for any other reason may be made at our discretion.
